Michael P. Merrion PC is a law firm in Denver, Colorado, whose practice is directed primarily to representation of taxpayers in all areas of taxation, from compliance, collection and examination to appeals, special procedures and trial representation. With more than forty years of experience as both an attorney and as a certified public accountant, Mr. Merrion also has significant experience in a wide variety of business transactions and he consults regularly with small businesses on issues relating to entity formation and structuring, transactional law, as well as purchases and sales of businesses.

Michael Merrion practices in the areas of federal and state taxation and business planning, formation, purchases and sales of businesses. Michael Merrion serves as corporate counsel for a number of businesses and has practiced in the area of tax as both a Certified Public Accountant (inactive) and as a tax attorney for over 40 years.  He holds a Masters of Tax Law degree as well as accounting and business degrees. He is also the author of dozens of books and articles on tax law and taught tax law classes and seminars for over 25 years to other accountants and lawyers throughout the country.

He has set up many successful companies, including entities organizes as corporations, partnerships, and limited liability companies.
