Lauri Ann Schmid Attorney

Attorney Lauri Schmid is a graduate of Concordia College (Bachelor of Arts in General Business) and Hamline University School of Law, both of St. Paul.

Lauri has been involved in the legal industry since 1986, when she began her career as an office manager/receptionist with a law firm in Edina, Minnesota. In 1987, she took on the role of legal assistant. She continued to work with one of the attorneys, Michael Mollerus, through 1997.

In 1997, she earned her law degree from Hamline University School of Law in St. Paul, Minnesota. She began work as an attorney with the firm of Mollerus & Haug, Ltd. At that time, her name was Lauri Haug, and she became a firm partner in November of 1997 and continued as a full partner until June of 2003. In July of 2003, Lauri capitalized on her experience and expertise and started her own firm, L.A. Haug & Associates, Ltd. In July 2008, she changed her last name to Schmid and began the law firm of Schmid & O’Brien, Ltd.
