Kalie is a partner at Brown Law, PLLC where she practices federal immigration law. She represents individuals and families before U.S. Citizenship and Immigration Services and U.S. consulates worldwide to help them obtain visas and permanent residency. In addition, she defends immigrants in deportation proceedings before the Immigration Court and Board of Immigration Appeals to keep families together in the United States. Prior to forming Brown Law, PLLC, Mrs. Brown worked exclusively as an immigration attorney for two boutique law firms in the greater Washington D.C. metropolitan area.

Ms. Brown decided to become an immigration attorney after growing up in Northern California where she saw firsthand how immigrants added to the vibrancy of her community, formed the backbone of the economy and brought innovation and business acumen to tech firms in Silicon Valley. She speaks fluent Spanish.
